There are many things you can do to help ASCA “Save the Archives.”

  1. Share with the Board of Supervisors and the Library Commission that you care about the future of the Sonoma County Archives Collection and ask that they come to an agreement that acknowledges that each organization has a shared responsibility for funding and management.

  2. Ask the Supervisors and the Commissioners to seek input from stakeholders as they develop plans for a permanent, accessible, secure, and environmentally controlled facility for the Archives.

  3. Contact the media and describe why the Sonoma County Archives Collection is a valued resource to many and why public access to this unique collection is vitally important to current and future generations.

  4. Support our efforts to advocate for a permanent facility, improved management, and access to the Sonoma County Archives with a donation (see below).
